Daleys remain undefeated

Another solid all-round performance by Daleys has cemented the defending premiers as favourites to take this year's Lismore netball division one title.

Undefeated at the half-way point of the competition, Daleys proved too strong for All Saints in their clash on Saturday.

Many of the Daleys team have played together for years, and the experience told over their younger opponents. Up 20-8 at half time, Daleys sealed the game 34-19. In the other games, Rous 2 had a great second half against Workers Purple, taking the game 49-26 after the scores were 18-18 at the break.

And Daleys Tribes ? at this stage the only realistic threat to sister team Daleys ? downed Woodlawn Herrons 54-16 (27-9 at the break).

Championship division points at the competition half-way mark are Daleys 28, Daleys Tribes 25, All Saints 22, Rous 2 19, Woodlawn Herrons 16, Workers Purple 12, Workers Gold 10, and Random Rats yet to score.
