Crickets off again

ALL Lismore District senior and junior cricket has been cancelled again tomorrow because most council grounds remain closed from all the recent rain.

The Far North Coast LJ Hooker League match between Marist Brothers and Casino Cavaliers at Oakes Oval will go ahead, but the match between Workers and Lennox Head set down for Nesbitt Park will be reduced to a one-dayer next week.

Four grounds will be opened for interdistrict cricket on Sunday.

The Under-19 match between Lismore and Casino will be played at Oakes Oval.

In the juniors, the Under-14 fixture between Lismore and Brunswick Valley will go ahead at Hepburn Park, Goonellabah, while in the Under-12 semi-finals, Lismore Blue plays Kyogle at Adam Gilchrist Oval, Caniaba, and Lismore White takes on Brunswick Valley at Sam Trimble Oval, Bexhill.
