Caught Warne on good wicket at the Lismore greyhounds

CAUGHT Warne made it two in a row for owner Ray Robey and trainer Frank Hand when he took out the Addis Boy at Stud Stake (520m) at the Lismore greyhounds on Tuesday night.

Caught Warne took up a prominent position in the run to the first turn then cleared out for a solid 30.18 seconds win over Midnight Miley, which was 31/4 lengths away, with Poetic Beauty onather 33/4 lengths back in third spot.

Caught Warne is a greyhound with promise and is improving with every run.

John McGrory from Tregeagle landed a winning double with Classic Impulse and Emily's Babe.

Claasic Impulse relished a drop in grade and led all the way to hold out John's Ace by three-quarters of a length in 30.06s with Super Faithful running an eye-catching third 21/4 lengths away after a moderate start.

Emily's Babe was too strong for Flying Intent in the run home to score by two lengths in 24.15s for the 420m. Placard's Lady was a neck away third.
