Branson flew high in Byron

BRITISH tycoon Richard Branson has revealed he smoked marijuana with his son while on a surfing holiday in Byron Bay.

The 57-year-old Virgin Group chief said he and his son travelled to Byron Bay to learn to surf.

"We had some nights where we laughed our heads off for eight hours," Branson told a London newspaper.

"Sam and I did have a lovely experience in Byron Bay.

"I don't think smoking the occasional spliff is all that wrong. I'd rather my son did it in front of me than behind closed doors."
