Boozy drivers nabbed



IT WAS another boozy weekend.

Police say they caught a lot of young people drinking and driving.

Among those charged were: A 20-year-old Lismore man stopped in Magellan Street at 2.18am on Friday.

A 47-year-old Casino man at 6.40pm on Saturday in Casino.

A 24-year-old Goonellabah man was charged with mid-range PCA (0.l25) at 1.05am on Saturday.

A 33-year-old Lismore man charged with disqualified driving after being stopped in High Street, Lismore, at 11.15pm on Friday.

A 22-year-old Lennox Head woman charged with disqualified driving at 9.25pm on Saturday in Lennox Head.

A 22-year-old West Ballina man charged with disqualified driving in East Lismore at 11.25pm on Saturday.

A 24-year-old Koonorigan man charged with high-range PCA (0.165) after being stopped in Lismore on Sunday.

A 74-year-old Kyogle woman charged with low-range PCA (0.075) at 5.02pm on Saturday.

A 22-year-old South Lismore man with low-range PCA and dangerous driving after a police pursuit at 1.30am on Saturday. It is alleged he drove at speeds up to l20km/h in a 60km/h zone through South Lismore.
