Big night for trainer with a winning treble

TRAINER Denise Robinson had a rare night with a winning treble at the Lismore greyhounds on Tuesday in front of supporters of the Lismore Swans AFL Club.

The punters sent Splendour and Robinson on to the track in the fifth race as the $1.80 favourite.

She lived up to her price by beating Alley's Payout on the line by half a head in 24.42 seconds.

Cellarman Bob took out the sixth race, impressing onlookers with an outstanding run by beating Star Of Riviera, the early pacesetter.

Cellarman Bob won by half a length in 30.50s. He was another to be sent out a firm favourite at $1.90.

The final leg of the Robinson winning treble was the ninth race, when Miss Cherie avoided all the early trouble to romp home in 30.47s.

Miss Cherie scored by 13-1/2 lengths from Assassin Attack. She too was a firm favourite, paying $1.50.
