After 10 rounds of Far North Coast LJ Hooker League cricket, Tintenbar-East Ballina leads thanks in part to competition-best efforts by two players.

The Bar’s Phil Dalli has twice scored 86 not out to give him two entries in the league’s top 10 individual innings.

Dalli has accumulate the best batting average, a Bradmanesque 101.67.

Tintenbar captain Brett Crawford has the eighth highest knock of the season with 90, and is also the competition’s highest wicket-taker with 23 at an average of 10.09.

Ballina Bears’ Ben Carruthers has the league’s second best batting average with 90.

Only five players have scored centuries and no-one has done it twice. Ballina Bears’ Josh Fleming holds the season’s highest knock of 121.

Southern Districts show why they are such a force, with three players, Aaron Mocatta, Paul McLean and Richard Nind, averaging in the top 10.

Lennox Head’s Mark Denmeade has the best bowling figures with 7-43.

His team-mate Travis Clarke has the third best with 6-35.
