Bent Street a straight winner in Lismore



THE Frank Vanz Tyre Centre 5th Grade (520m) was run in front of a good crowd on a chilly Tuesday night at the Lismore greyhounds this week.

Supporters gathered to help raise money for the Norths Baseball Club and to cheer on Craig Gardoll's Bent Street, which handled the circuit with ease to lead from start to finish and win in 30.71s.

He beat Stick By Me by a head, with Assassin Attack a length further back in third.

Next Tuesday the Lismore Swans AFL Club will head to the greyhounds to catch the action.
