ARENA SPECTACULAR

TWO weeks, two Cups, one horse. This was the equation facing Ballina trainer John Everson after his six-year-old gelding Arena Valadora claimed the Lismore Cup only two weeks after winning the Ballina Cup. In front of a massive crowd estimated to be only slightly under 10,000, Arena Valadora proved was a popular winner. There was even some celebrities including a handful of Brisbane Broncos league stars and Casino's Melbourne Storm winger Matt King.
