Abuzz for a new bus

THE Lismore greyhound track was abuzz on Tuesday when it hosted an Ozanam Villa fundraiser. Proceeds went towards a new bus for residents.

The feature race, the Anzac Cup (520m), was taken out by Special Phantom in a sizzling run, winning by three-and-a-half lengths in a best-of-night 30.25s.

Next week the Marist Brothers Rugby League Club will be fundraising at the greyhounds.

Jack Russells are still needed for their annual races. Inquiries to Mark Fisher on 0411-044788.
