Crash victim was 'loving, supportive husband'
ANDREW Lines was more than just a loving father and supportive husband - he was the embodiment of the Australian spirit, according to those who knew him.
Tributes have flowed in for Mr Lines after the 35-year-old former Roma man and Tambourine resident was killed in a truck accident on Sunday morning in the Western Downs region.
Speaking on behalf of the family, his cousin Tara Wilson said the man known affectionately as "Andy" was one of the "true sons of Roma" and a loyal friend.
"The Lines family has been in Roma for six generations, so Andy was one of the true sons of Roma," she said.
"He would give you the shirt off his back in the middle of a storm. He was a gentle and tender father, a supportive husband.
"The genuine, honest true bloke is a dying breed.''
A GoFundMe campaign set up by loved ones to support Mr Lines' widow has already raised more than $5000. To donate, go to gofundme.com/linesfamily.
