And We're Racing
St Brigid’s Primary School Kyogle took to the starting line again at the Kyogle Billycart Bonanza held in the main street of Kyogle on Father’s Day!
Our team consisted of students from Stage 2 and Stage 1 with only two of our drivers having conquered the track in previous years!
The students displayed great sportsmanship all day. Helping each other out with the carts and offering support and encouragement to all the competitors!
They really did us proud bringing home a bagful of trophies and winning the converted ‘Novelty Category’ which saw our ‘Blue Cart’ take home the prize of a perpetual trophy and a cheque for $500. The blue flying machine won the award as it best displayed our School on the track – we think it was the blue streamers!!!
Congratulations to all of the students and well done to the organisers for another great Billycart Bonanza in Kyogle. We will no doubt be back next year to contest our titles!
