Alleged robber leaves bag behind

A 34-year-old man arrested and charged over a robbery at Girrards Hill, Lismore, allegedly left a bag containing his personal items at the scene of the crime.

Lismore police arrested and charged ther man from Spring Hill in Queensland with break, enter and steal.

Police will allege the man forced entry into an Esmonde Street residence between 4pm and 8.51pm on Friday night.

Police said stolen from the premise was a bag in which the man allegedly placed a HP laptop computer, Sony Handycam, mobile phone, aftershave, leather wallet, car key, expired licences, deodorant, six silver rings, quartz watch, silver bracelet, silver necklace and loose change.

About 8.30pm on Friday, police were called to a Lismore Hotel where the man had collapsed.

He was arrested and charged with the offence.
