Alleged robber, 15, faces court

A TEENAGE boy, who allegedly broke into a home and terrorised a man with a bat so he could run off with a gaming console, has fronted court.

Police allege the 15-year-old was one of two young males who burst into a Greystanes home on the weekend.

Once inside, the pair allegedly belted a 20-year-old man with a baseball bat, stole his gaming console and fled.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for serious face and arm injuries.

On Tuesday, one of the teenagers was arrested and charged with aggravated break-and-enter and causing grievous bodily harm.

He fronted the Parramatta Children's Court on Wednesday and was refused bail.
