All a-Twitter about news conference with The Star

THIS morning we will be doing our daily news conference out in public at the Mecca cafe, Magellan Street, Lismore and we'd like you to come along.

We'll even shout you a coffee!

The morning news conference is where we discuss story ideas, how we are going to develop stories, and what our priorities will be for the next day's paper and that day's online content. It's also where we first start considering what stories are most likely to lead the next day's paper.

This is a chance to see our daily process in action and actually take part in it. We'd love to hear what you'd like to read tomorrow's issue of The Northern Star.

If you can't make it, don't fret. You can still follow the news conference and have your say here on our website, via the Twitter feed you see below the story.

You can contribute comments via Twitter or through the comments section on this story and they will become part of the news conference.

We look forward to seeing you.
