Adopt a furry friend at Ballina

YOU'VE got the chance to meet a potential new addition to your family.

Northern Rivers Animal Services has scheduled its next Adoption Day to be held at Petstock Ballina on Saturday April 9from 10am.

NRAS still has many cats and kittens looking for their forever homes and the group is also keen to hear from people interested in becoming a foster carer.

The NRAS Op Shop in River Street recently sustained flood damage and is currently closed with limited phone access, therefore, the best form of contact is via email at nras@live.com.au or through the NRAS PetRescue page.

Potential Adopters are reminded that animals taken on the day must have an appropriate lead and/or harness for dogs or a cat cage for safe transportation of our feline friends.

There will not be EFTPOS or credit card facilities so adoption payments should be made by cash, cheque or direct deposit.
