Second person dies at Stereosonic festival

A SECOND person has died in two weeks, and dozens arrested, at the Stereosonic music festivals.

A teenager died at the electronic music festival's Adelaide leg and 60 people were arrested for drug offences at the Melbourne festival - both held on Saturday.

Last week a 25-year-old pharmacist Sylvia Choi died from a suspected overdose at the Sydney event.

In a statement festival organisers implored music-lovers to be safe and be careful of taking illicit drugs.

"Police and Stereosonic once again warn the public of the risks associated with taking any type of illicit substance. We are imploring people to see the dangers of the situation, enjoy the day and please be safe," the statement said.

Victorian police on Sunday announced they seized ecstasy, MDMA, amphetamines, cocaine and cannabis at the Melbourne festival.
