Additional Splendour 2014 ticket release sold out

ALL of the extra 2,500 tickets released by Splendour in the Grass this morning have sold within minutes.

Splendour In The Grass released an additional 2500 tickets for sale through Moshtix at 9am this morning after the Department of Planning and Environment authorised a capacity increase for the festival.

The festival, to be held at North Byron Parklands July 25-27.

However there is still one more chance to get your hands on a ticket with the Re-sale facility.

If you purchased tickets and can no longer attend the show, the ticket Re-sale facility gives you the opportunity to offload your ticket to someone who missed out.

You can find more info about the Re-sale here.

The Re-sale will kick into action via Moshtix from 9am AEST Monday June 16 and is now the only other place where you can purchase legitimate tickets for Splendour In The Grass 2014.

Splendour organisers have once again asked punters not to purchase tickets from online auction sites, as Splendour tickets include the name and date of birth of the purchaser.

This is checked against your ID at the festival gates.

There is no facility in place that allows a ticket holder to change the name and date of birth on a ticket and transfer it to another person.

Car passes for Day Parking, Campers and RVs will also go on sale at 9am AEST Monday June 16 through moshtix.com.au or phone 1300 GET TIX (438 849).

Punters need a car pass to bring a vehicle onsite.
