Abbott to reveal workplace policy within weeks

FEDERAL Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has indicated the Coalition's workplace relations policy will be released before the budget.

Mr Abbott has previously said the Coalition will focus on fixing problems with the current system, rather than making ideological changes.

Some within the Coalition would like to make substantial amendments to the Fair Work Act, including a greater focus on individual agreements and changes to unfair dismissal laws.

Mr Abbott told Sky News voters would be able to see the full policy soon.

"We are not going to go to polling day with the voters in doubt as to exactly what will happen under a Coalition government," he said.
