Abandoned crash wreckage polluting creek: resident

NORTHERN Downs residents are calling on authorities to remove a car crash wreck they say is polluting a local creek.

The car has been sitting on its roof off the side of Gungas Rd near Nimbin for three weeks.

A concerned resident said it was "now an environmental issues".

"All the fuels and oils, etc have been going into the creek," the concerned resident said.

"It has to be removed. Enough is enough. Owners or council ... someone step up."
