Aaliyah Warren eliminated from The Voice

AALIYAH Warren bowed out of The Voice tonight after a snap viewer vote.

The 17-year-old singer was able to perform one final time after failing to get more votes than her Team Madden team mate Andrew Loadsman.

Ms Warren sang Rihanna's ballad Stay in her semi-final sing-off. She was up against Ellen Reed from Team Jessie, Alfie Arcuri from Team Delta and Mitch Gardner from Team Ronan.

Despite her coaches Benji and Joel Madden imploring viewers to vote for their "little sister", she and Gardner were the first to go.

"It's been such a beautiful experience," she said.

"There are some beautiful people around here and I appreciate everything everyone's done for me."

Joel Madden reminded Ms Warren, who turns 18 next week, she is just beginning

"We didn't make our first record until we were 20, so she's got two years of work to do," he said.

"This is such a good jump off for her."

Earlier this week Ms Warren told APN she plans to go on a road trip, performing along the way, after The Voice finishes.

"I want to get a van and travel and do gigs an meet heaps of people," she said.

"I want to get all that experience and then hopefully travel overseas as well and work on songs that are true to me. I like that kind of musical lifestyle.

"I don't want to be a huge pop star."
