A sleuth seeking the truth

The Kyogle Amateur Theatrical Society (KATS) will be presenting the comedy Busybody, at the Kyogle Memorial Hall. The show is a murder mystery set in a London office. KATS president and seasoned performer Wendy Farenden plays the busybody Mrs Piper, the office caretaker and amateur sleuth who wreaks havoc and chaos as she gets closer to discovering the truth and solving the murder.

The show also stars Peter Allen and Arthur Reynolds as the police officers assigned to the case, Wizz Worsfold as the crusty office boss, and Jeanette Foy-Wilson, Tara Laarhoven, Brian Bell, and Angela Reid as a collection of office staff and suspects.

There are two evening shows (with a wine and cheese supper) on Saturday May 15 and 22 at 7pm and two matinee shows on Sunday May 16 and 23 at 2pm.

Tickets are $10 for the matinee shows and $15 for the evening performances and are on sale at Kyogle Real Estate. There will be limited tickets available at the door.
