OPINION: A party called Mullum deserves love

MULLUM Music Festival exceeded expectations due to fantastic music performances, delicious food, the parade and the wonderful atmosphere around town during the weekend.

The only thing that worried me was a number of people commenting that they did not buy a ticket for the festival.

They were happy to come into Mullum and enjoy the side benefits of the event.

Local businesses, cafes and restaurants, worked hard to keep visitors happy and well fed, and even if people do not attend the actual music festival, the town's businesses still benefited from their patronage.

But a weekend at Mullumbimby during Mullum Music Festival without the chance to listen to the artists in the line up is an incomplete experience.

Without Glenn Wright and his fantastic team, the Northern Rivers wouldn't have such a fantastic, relaxed and quality event to enjoy. They deserve as much support as we can give them.

Well done Mullum, see you next year.
