A great way to shop: Ballina Twilight Market

STILL looking for a special gift and/or a great place to meet up with friends? Then head down to the Ballina Twilight Market in Fawcett Park.

You will find at the markets a range of beautiful handmade products including clothing, leather goods, artwork, jewellery, cosmetics and homewares such as a funky range of upcycled vinyl record clocks. Other market stalls offer some of the region's freshest local produce including fruit, veg, oysters, nuts, honey and preserves.

Among the market stallholders is Antoine from Detour En Provence, who sells a range of French pantry staples including marinated olives, tapenades and preserved lemons. Antoine brought his family recipes to Australia and now enjoys sharing his knowledge about his products with customers.

The market runs every Thursday afternoon until February 25. For details call Steve Cooke on 0478 163 038.
