Invizimals: Lost Kingdom is good value if a bit wobbly

AT THIS stage in the year the one thing people want is value. The post-holiday budget has been stretched thin, but you might want to buy a game as a present for the kids. Invizimals to the rescue!

This charming creature collecting action game, often tipped as Sony's answer to Pokemon, has now made it to the PS3 for the first time. The Lost Kingdom is arguably the best game in the series too. Admittedly it doesn't feature the clever "scan and search" elements that saw you using your Vita's camera and motion sensing technology to find Invizimals around your home, by moving the console about.

However, the PS3 game is a more fully realised 3D platformer with plenty of great elements that will appeal to fans of the series.

The Lost Kingdom is a cheap and cheerful game that occasionally suffers from screen glitches. Otherwise for the price this is a fun game that might keep January blues at bay.
