90 years and smiling

FAMILY came from as far north as Caboolture in Queensland and as far south as Melbourne to celebrate Evelyn Robson's 90th birthday.

Woodburn Bowling Club's dining room was crowded with five generations of the Robson family on Saturday night two weeks ago.

"Mum was born and bred in Coraki," her son Lester Robson, of Woodburn, said.

"She has lived there all her life.

"You could say she's a true local."

The youngest member of the family to help Mrs Robson celebrate her birthday was her great-great-granddaughter Maddison Comans, 11 months, of Kallangur in Brisbane.

"Mum had five children," daughter Roslyn Inga, of Stradbroke Island, said.

"Then there were 16 grandkids, 36 great-grandkids and three great-great-grandkids."
