$70,000 worth of items stolen from Northern Rivers business

A BANGALOW business has had $70,000 worth of items stolen.

Police from Tweed Byron Local Area Command said that between 8.15pm on March 23 and 9.30am on March 24, Island Luxe was broken into.

During the break and enter 14 leather jackets and 18 floor rugs were stolen from the business.

These items are collectively valued at approximately $70,000.00

“Please take a look at photographs of some of the items that were stolen,” police said on the Tweed Byron LAC Facebook page.

“If you see such jackets or floor rugs being sold on-line or by other means and you have a suspicion that the items might be similar to those that were stolen, please contact Senior Constable Peta Erickson (Bangalow Police Station - 02 6687 1404) or Sergeant Troy Hamilton (Tweed Heads Police Station - 07 5536 0999).”

“Alternatively, provide information of the theft to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

“Please do not report crime via Police social media platforms.”
