60 Years and Still Courting

It was definitely a love match for oldest members of Ballina Tennis Club, Barbara and Denis Lynch, when they married 60 years ago on February 23, 1957 at St Davids Church, Rockdale (Sydney).
After raising their 3 children Tracey, Steven and Ros in Sydney they moved to Lennox Head in 2002 then to their property 'Billabong" Uralba which was enjoyed by many visitors as part of the Australian Open Garden Scheme.
Now in their 80's Denis and Barbara live in a 1957 beach house (built the same year they married) which they have renovated, at East Ballina.

Barbara and Denis reckon they still give younger Club members a run for their money when they regularly play tennis twice a week.
They have 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
