$520,000 to resurface Grafton road

A $520,000 project to resurface sections of the Summerland Way, Grafton and boost the road’s durability is now complete.

A total of 1.9km of road resurfacing has been carried out between Queen Street and Carr Street, Grafton.

This involved repairing the existing road surface with asphalt patching, followed by a full asphalt overlay.

The improvements will increase the road’s durability, reduce noise, lower maintenance costs and provide a smoother travelling surface for motorists.

The project is fully funded by the State Government.

Improvement work was carried out by Clarence Valley Council on behalf of the RTA.
