$31,500 to help service 'save by soaring on angel wings'

A CASINO family have channelled their grief of losing their young daughter into generosity to help a vital service "save by soaring on angel wings".

The Underhill family yesterday donated $31,500 to the Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Rescue crew that was tasked to the fatal car that killed their daughter, Elle, 4.

It comes following the On Angel Wings fundraiser hosted by the family last Friday, on what would have been Elle's 5th birthday.

The family was overwhelmed by the support shown from Casino and beyond, expressing their thanks to those who donated prizes and sponsored the event.

As the first anniversary of Elle's death approaches in the coming weeks, the Underhill family hope the community takes a minute to remember their little girl and those families who have a missing member from their table this year at Christmas.
