As expected Richmond Rovers claimed Football FNCs premier league soccer title on Saturday night with an emphatic 3-1 win over Lennox Head at Oakes Oval.
Although Rovers play a reduced version of the beautiful game, their strong midfield and fast and fiery front men did more than enough to capture the title.
The win means Rovers trophy cabinet is fit to explode as the club picked up the minor and major premiership double in their top four grades; premier, premier reserve, second and third division.
