200 celebrate hall centenary

MORE than 200 people came to celebrate the centenary of Dungarubba Hall, including one possum.

Prime Possum was part of the gathering that saw people like John Cooper, from Sydney, and his sister Rose Craig, of Alstonville, come back to catch up with friends and neighbours on September 30.

Official guests for the day included Member for Page Janelle Saffin and Lismore Mayor Jenny Dowell.

Mr Cooper didn't walk away empty-handed either - he won the major prize for the day of three nights accommodation at Diamondvale B&B Cottages at Stanthorpe.
