AUSTRALIA'S premier contemporary Blues & Roots music festival.
It showcases music from around the world annually on the Easter long weekend on 120 hectares at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, just north of Byron Bay, NSW.
Bluesfest presents over 200 performances with up to 7 stages over 5, 12 hour days, as well as camping for up to 6,000 people, 5 licensed bars, over 100 food and market stalls, undercover food courts, beer gardens, and children's entertainment.

2. Rabbits Eat Lettuce 2016
A PLACE of freedom, love and dance music. Come and camp in a beautiful natural environment and form a community of like-minded souls who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Rabbits Eat Lettuce lets us be human again. We can dissolve the social barriers and dance together. March 25 - 28, 1032 Seery Road, Kippenduff. Weekend Pass Tickets are for the full 4 days / 3 nights of the event and included camping, entertainment and workshops for the duration of the event.
Single Day tickets are not available. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST arrive with a guardian 21 years or older. You MUST arrive with your photo ID and your ticket to enter.

3.New Moonlight Mystic Fair
TIME to have your chakras aligned, your palm read and make a plan to live the life you were given. It is a three day celebration of the truly Mystical.
The Moonlight Mystic Fair will feature Psychics, Tarot Reader, Crystal Singing Bowls, Past lives, Spirit guide drawings, Healers, Channels & Practitioners.

4. Nimbin Autumn Arts Extravaganza
THIS major annual exhibition is curated by the Nimbin Artist Gallery located within the the School of Arts complex. The gallery is open daily and can be accessed from the main street next to the hall. During the exhibition, which occurs for 3 weeks over Easter, the gallery is joined to the hall, stage and back stage areas for one of Nimbin's largest art exhibitions. The exhibition includes daily recitals and performance art. Starting Friday, March 25 until Wednesday, April 20. Gallery open 10am-5pm.
5. Australian AMCA Nationals
NSW V8 Dirt Modified Title - Wingless Sprint Roaring 40s at Lismore Speedway on Saturday, March 26 and the V8 Dirt Modified Easter Cup Wingless Sprint Roaring 40s on Sunday, March 27. Racing starts at 6pm. Tickets for adults are $25. Gates open at 3pm.
6. The Mikado
OPERA lovers are in for a treat with the staging of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic play The Mikado at the Casino RSM Club on Tuesday, March 29.
Set in Japan during the late 1800s, The Mikado is a satire on politics, power and romance, and will be performed in Casino by two of South Australia's best loved and longest running arts companies, Co-Opera and The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of SA.
The Mikado will perform on Tuesday, March 29 at Casino RSM Club with a 7.30pm start. 7. Byron Arts Classic
THIS event offers a rich seven day celebration of inspiration, creativity and involvement in the visual arts. The community art exhibition features over 300 works and over 11 awards are distrubuted to local artists.
The Byron Theatre becomes the three-tiered Dawkins Gallery with a floor to gantry central sculpture garden surrounded by paintings, photographs and works on paper.
This extends to the upper level where many of the smaller works are intimately displayed. Upstairs and down the foyers and other gallery spaces are filled with artworks from emerging visual artists sitting side by side with established artists. All works are for sale.
The exhibition opens Thursday, March 24 and goes to Wednesday, March 30, 10am-4pm.
