We have found that much of the public have never heard of, or seen any of our Bio-degradable Erosion Control Blankets. These products are made of Jute (which can be described as being similar to Hemp) or Coconut fibre (Coir), which comes from the fibrous material found around the outside of the Coconut. The blankets come in rolls approximately 2 metres wide and 25 metres long which are laid out over soil and pinned down using retaining pins. Once installed native plants can then be planted into them. They are useful in weed suppression, soil stabilization, and improves plant survival by reducing moisture loss and eventually breaking down to increase organic matter within the soil.
There is no other company on the Sunshine Coast that compares to Aussie Erosion. We supply and install all of our available products which is imported by Aussie Erosion, there is no middle man, so our pricing and quality is second to none. Aussie Erosion is a trusted Environmental Company that have built strong relationships with all of the local Land Developers and Councils throughout the South East of Queensland, as they are they ones asking us how to best manage their projects.
Aussie Erosion also specialises in Hydromulching.
Hydromulching: is the application of seed, mulch, fertiliser, tackifier (Bio-degradable glue) and water to form a wet mixture called a slurry. These ingredients are combined and then sprayed onto soil. This method is a cost-effective alternative to laying turf, growing grass on large acreage, or revegetation using native seeds.
