DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

NOTICE OF DESIGNATED DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

DA/1175/2018 11–17 Salisbury Road, Hornsby An application has been lodged with Hornsby Shire Council for the following proposal to construct a concrete batching plant. The proposal is both designated development and integrated development. The consent authority is Hornsby Shire Planning Panel. Integrated approval bodies and approvals required: Water Management Act 2000 Advertising Period: 24 January 2019–21 February 2019 Applicant: Metromix Pty Ltd You may inspect the full development application and the accompanying documents including the environmental impact statement between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted) at the Customer Service Centre, ground fl oor of Council’s Administration building. The application may also be inspected at the Department of Planning and Environment’s offi ce located at 320 Pitt Street, Sydney between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted) during the advertising period. Council’s website hornsby.nsw.gov.au via the Application Enquiry system provides access to plans showing external elements of the proposal and supporting documentation. Additional information about political donations disclosure is also provided. Submissions must be restricted to the subject development application, and not contain any defamatory statements or personal information. If you wish to object to the proposal, specifi c grounds must be given. All submissions made within the specifi ed period will be fully considered by Council prior to the determination of the application. Information provided to Council in correspondence, submissions or requests (electronic or written), including personal information such as your name and address,may be made publicly available, including via Council website, in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act (GIPA Act) 2009. Council reserves the right to reproduce in whole or in part any correspondence or submission. Please also note that under the Environmental Planning Assessment Act, a person who makes a public submission to Council in relation to a development application is required to disclose the following reportable political donations and gifts (if any) made by the person making the submission or any associate of that person within the period commencing two years before the submission is made and ending when the application is determined: n All reportable political donations made to any Councillor n All gifts made to any Councillor, candidate or employee Any submission made in regard to this development application may be accessed by third parties under the Freedom of Information Act 1989 and/or Council Policy, may be reproduced in Council reports or in Court proceedings. In the event that this designated development application is approved, any person who has made an objection and is dissatisfi ed with the determination of the HSLPP to grant development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court. If the Planning Assessment Commission conducts a review of the proposed development, the Minister’s determination of the application is fi nal and not subject to appeal. Council’s determination of the application will be published in the local newspaper circulating in the area
