Bombay to Byron restaurant requires a full-time experienced qualified Cook with a creative flair and passion. You will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting superior quality food in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess: - Previous experience, within in a commercial kitchen cooking Indian cuisine - Trade Qualified (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery) - Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene of food preparation - Innovative and have passion for preparing high quality restaurant meals, with the ability to produce and create menus - An open friendly manner and positive attitude and team spirit. - Great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise varying work demands and work load - Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised in a pressured environment - Display excellent people, communication and customer service skills - Ability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, school and public holiday periods - Good English language ability required This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week. Salary range between $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per annum.
