Half Tide is ready to carve it up

THE Christmas period has left us with no beach and some pretty brown water periods but it didn't stop the HTBR Juniors getting out there when the swell was up.

This year could see some large swells swing down from the tail end of all the lows that have been wandering down the coast, so be ready for some nice waves if conditions permit.

First Comp this Sunday

Our first comp for the year will be Sunday, February 19, with membership fees to be paid on the day, so please bring your wallets (or mums and dads).

This year we would encourage surfers of all ages to come down and be part of the day, we usually have a heap of fun and kids have the opportunity to enjoy the waves at a host of different beaches.

Build child's confidence

The confidence your child builds from more time in the ocean is priceless and there's no better way to spend your day than at the beach, it's Aussie culture, it's part of the constitution (well sort of).

The AGM was held at the bowling club on Sunday, February 5, and with all positions selected we are ready for a cracker of a year.

Dave Sales has made great progress with the Good Sports Association achieving a level 1 accreditation which will certainly help the club and the youth in the future. Hope to see you down at the Surf Club on Sunday morning at 7am.
