Downpour floods Bonalbo streets

BONALBO'S streets have been turned into rivers after a sudden downpour brought flash-flooding to the town.

Resident Eve Sinton, who grabbed these pictures, said she had never seen such intense flooding in her three years living in the town - including last year when the Northern Rivers' western regions were hit relatively hard by flooding.

Ms Sinton said she wasn't aware of any damage caused by the downpour, which began shortly before 6pm, or the flash flood that followed.
