The portable toilets from the Caltex service station in Maryborough are now available for use off Fraser Island. Floodwaters flushed the toilets down the Mary River over the weekend.
A PORTABLE toilet block from a Maryborough service station ended up in Hervey Bay today after floodwaters carried it down the swollen Mary River.
Local jet ski operators, Aquavue Watersports, came across the floating loo on a trip across to Fraser Island.
They reported the toilet was still usable, although the paper was wet.
