A post mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death of a 90-year-old man at a Ballina Caravan Park yesterday morning.
A 90-year-old Ballina man died at Pacific Palms Caravan Park yesterday morning.
Richmond Local Area Command Acting Inspector/crime manager Bernadette Ingram said the man collided with the boom gate at the caravan park while driving his mobility scooter at 5.45am.
The man collapsed and a bystander came to his aid.
Acting Insp Ingram said paramedics attended shortly after and found the man was deceased.
“A post mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death and determine whether his death was the result of the accident,” Acting Insp Ingram said.
