THOUSANDS have flocked to Ballina Jockey Club this afternoon for the annual Ballina Cup.
THOUSANDS have flocked to Ballina Jockey Club this afternoon for the annual Ballina Cup.
Last year's Ballina Cup saw 4000 punters walk through the gates and this year it seems there could be more.
With the first few races already run, there should be enough sun in the sky to be able to shine through on a few lucky winners.
The big race for the punters, the 2010 Point Ballina Cup, starts at 4.30pm.
The Northern Star is down at the track following the action and we will be posting photos of the fashion and entertainment throughout the afternoon.
