YESTERDAY’S fundraising auction for the Lennox Head Tornado Appeal continued on despite the rain.
Organiser Louise Owen said it took a couple of phone calls, but the auction moved into the Lennox Point Hotel.
All 30 or so lots up for sale went under the hammer, raising more than $6000 for the appeal.
A donated surfboard signed by two-time world surfing champion, Mick Fanning, will, however, be sold on eBay, with the proceeds still going to the tornado appeal.
The tornado appeal closes on June 30.
