Karters get trackside in opener

It was a close battle between Michael Dwyer (front) and Chris Burley (8) in the junior national lights at Lismore Kart Club on Sunday, with Dwyer eventually winning the round from Burley in second and Jacob Jolley (22) in third.

LISMORE Kart Club beat the rain on Sunday to hold its first club meet of the year at its North Lismore track.

The February meet had been rained out.

More rain on Sunday resulted in some drama early on in the day, but the weather cleared later for some good racing.
