Titans ready to meet and greet

RUGBY LEAGUE: Rugby league fans across the Far North Coast will get a chance to meet Gold Coast Titans players when they visit local schools today.

RUGBY LEAGUE: Rugby league fans across the Far North Coast will get a chance to meet Gold Coast Titans players when they visit local schools today.

Superstar internationals Anthony Laffranchi and Matt Rogers will be joined by local products David Mead and Shannon Walker plus a host of regular first graders who will visit the area as part of the NRL’s community carnival.

Players will split into groups and hit schools across the region throughout the day to give talks and throw a few balls with the kids.

Dual-international Rogers and local boys Mead (Lismore) and Walker (Kyogle) will be at Broadwater Public School at 9:30am, Woodburn Public School at 11:30am and Evans River School from 1:30pm.

NSW backrower Anthony Laffranchi will be joined by ironman Luke O’Dwyer and rising star Ben Ridge at Lennox Head Public School from 9:30am, Holy Family at 11:30am and Xavier High at 1:30pm.

Hardman Matt White and Roosters recruit Riley Brown are the third group and will meet the kids at Southern Cross Public School at 9:30am, Ballina Public School at 11:30am and St Francis Xavier from 1:30pm.
