Travis Chambers, Casey Hannan and Tom Strain are set to show their stuff in the ring.
A FULL house witnessed a great night of boxing featuring local pugilists at Condong on Saturday night.
The main bout was won by Tom Strain of Tweed PCYC who defeated Casino boxer Luke Allen,
Allen took the fight to Strain but the Tweed boy seemed to have the edge in fitness.
Strain, formerly of Murwillumbah, is now trained by well-known Tweed Heads trainer Tony Nobbs.
Former Grafton boxer Warren Cootes scored a unanimous points decision over Cliff Copeland of Maloneys at Lismore.
Cootes is now trained by David Hesse at North Coast Boxing at Ballina.
Copeland was making a comeback after a long lay off. This was a hard fought and entertaining contest.
Aaron Schaefer of Casino outpointed Murwillumbah boxer Darcy Lejuge in their bout. Schaefer, who was having his first fight, is trained by former Australian champion Justin Rowsell at the Casino RSM
Youth Club. He gave a very good display of boxing.
Casino boxer Dan Beverley outpointed Ricky Irwin of Kingscliff in a hotly contested bout. This was
Beverley’s best fight for some time.
