A TRUCK driver was taken to Lismore Base Hospital with leg injuries and the Pacific Highway closed just north of Woodburn early this morning after two trucks crashed near Riley Hill Road.

The crash, which happened in an area where roadworks are being done, has since been cleared and the highway re-opened.

The trucks were understood to have crashed about 2.30am. Fortunately only one of the drivers, who suffered leg injuries, needed to be taken to hospital.
