Take a cruise and learn the rivers history

THE Wardell Progress Association and the Blackwall Historical Society have organised a river cruise on the Richmond Princess on Saturday, November 17.

The cruise will present a history of the early days of the Richmond River.

The Richmond Princess will depart Ballina at 9.30am and travel to Wardell, and return to Ballina at about 3pm. The cruise includes morning tea and a light lunch. Tickets cost $50 and are available from the Wardell Post Office or the Ballina Visitor Information Centre.
