Police breakthrough in video store armed robbery

POLICE have made a breakthrough in the investigation of the armed robbery of Civic Video at East Lismore last September seizing an item of interest in a raid yesterday.

At 1:05pm yesterday detectives from Casino and Lismore and the Richmond Target Action Group Unit executed a search warrant at a North Lismore address in relation to the robbery.

During the search a small amount of cannabis was seized along with an item of interest in the investigation.

Anyone with information in relation to the armed robbery is urged to contact Lismore Police on 6626 0599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
