POLICE are hunting a wanted fugitive who they believe is in the Lismore area.

A warrant was issued for 33-year-old Colin Stacey Walker  today after he failed to appear in court and officers have appealed to the public for assistance locating him.

Police have warned the public not to approach Walker.

If spotted, or if anyone knows where he is, they should contact their local police station, phone 000 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.   

Any information reported to Police will be treated as confidential and can be made anonymously.
