Police appeal for help to find Alstonville teen Emma Selby

Emma Selby, 15, of Alstonville, has been missing since March.
Emma Selby, 15, of Alstonville, has been missing since March.

POLICE are appealing for information to help locate an Alstonville teenager who went missing earlier this year.

Emma Selby, 15, was last seen in the Byron Bay area with a friend about 11.45pm on Friday March 28.

She was reported missing a short time later and officers from Richmond Local Area Command launched an investigation, following several lines of inquiry since, but have not still not been able to locate her.

Police said Emma has no access to money and that they have serious concerns for her welfare and safety.

They said they believed she may have been making her way to Brisbane at the time; however police have also received reports of possible sightings in Western Sydney.

Emma is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, about 158cm tall, with blue/green-coloured eyes, mid-length dark brown hair and of a stocky build.

Anyone with information on Emma's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/.

Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
